On July 9, 2025, Transavia's retro-style Airbus A321neo, commemorating the airline's 60th anniversary, completed its first test flight. This "F1" flight, a critical pre-delivery evaluation by Airbus, saw technicians and pilots verify the aircraft's systems, from taxiing and takeoff to high-altitude flight and landing.

Following this, a joint Airbus-Transavia team will conduct a second test flight during the delivery phase, ensuring all systems meet standards before the official handover. The retro Airbus A321neo sports a 1960s-inspired design, reflecting Transavia's original branding, while incorporating modern technology for cleaner, quieter, and more fuel-efficient performance.

This will be Transavia's twelfth Airbus A321neo, with the eleventh expected on July 16.The retro Airbus blends nostalgic aesthetics with cutting-edge efficiency, marking a milestone in Transavia's fleet expansion and its commitment to sustainable aviation.
