Qatar Airways has expanded its winter season schedule, adding flights to over 15 global destinations to meet rising travel demand. Operating through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport, voted the Best Airport in the Middle East, the airline enhances global connectivity. Named the World's Best Airline by Skytrax in 2025 for a record ninth time, Qatar Airways now offers up to 10 daily flights to London, its highest-ever frequency, complemented by British Airways' double daily services.
Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted strong demand for Qatar Airways' 5-star services, particularly to London, Dublin, Cape Town, and São Paulo. In partnership with Virgin Australia, the airline will launch Melbourne-Doha flights, increasing capacity to three daily flights. Qatar Airways will also resume services to Canberra, strengthening ties between Australia and global destinations.
The airline's commitment to passenger experience is evident in its fleet of 54 Boeing 777s, fully equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi, offering free, gate-to-gate connectivity at speeds up to 500 Mbps for all passengers. Qatar Airways is the first airline globally to equip over 50 widebody aircraft with Starlink and the only MENA carrier providing this service.
The airline is now outfitting its Airbus A350 fleet with Starlink, targeting completion within a year. This expansion underscores Qatar Airways' focus on unmatched service and connectivity through its award-winning Doha hub.
