Starting November 26, 2025, Norse Atlantic Airways will launch the first direct flight between Manchester, UK, and Bangkok, Thailand, enhancing connectivity between the two cities. The weekly service will depart Manchester at 23:30, arriving in Bangkok at 18:00 local time, with return fares starting at £259.
This new route fills a critical gap, as over 200,000 passengers currently travel indirectly between these destinations each year, offering a faster and more convenient option.Norse CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen emphasized the airline's goal to tap into unmet demand, describing the route as a strategic move in their long-haul growth plan.
Manchester Airport praised the service as a "game-changer," highlighting its potential to boost tourism, education, and the local economy. The route will also attract more Thai visitors to the UK, fostering new opportunities for cultural and economic exchange. This milestone underscores Norse Atlantic Airways' commitment to expanding affordable, direct long-haul travel options.
