Luxair, Luxembourg's national airline, unveiled plans for a significant network expansion for the 2026 summer season, introducing nine new leisure-focused routes from Luxembourg (LUX).
The new destinations include Girona (GRO), Edinburgh (EDI), Helsinki (HEL), Tunis (TUN), Alicante (ALC), Bilbao (BIO), Zakynthos (ZTH), Patras-Araxos (PTH) in Greece, and Porto Santo (PXO), a Portuguese island near Madeira.Flights to these destinations will commence between late March and early July 2026.
Most routes will operate twice weekly, while Zakynthos, Patras-Araxos, and Porto Santo will have weekly services. Luxair plans to utilize its fleet of Boeing 737s and DeHavilland Canada DHC-8 Q400 turboprops for these routes.
