Barcelona-based LEVEL Airlines, a long-haul low-cost carrier under IAG, has announced its largest-ever winter schedule for the 2025/26 season (October 26, 2025, to March 28, 2026), boosting capacity by 51% with over 400,000 seats. North America will see a 64% capacity increase, with the Barcelona-New York (JFK) route doubling to daily flights from November to January and six weekly flights in February and March. Boston will have five weekly flights during peak months, Miami will see up to four weekly flights, and Los Angeles will maintain three weekly nonstop flights.
In South America, capacity will grow by 38%, with Buenos Aires increasing to 9–12 weekly flights and Santiago de Chile offering five weekly flights during December to February. This expansion, enabled by a recent fleet increase, strengthens LEVEL's position as Barcelona El Prat Airport's leading long-haul carrier, holding 18% of long-haul seats and 29% on North Atlantic routes.
Additionally, LEVEL celebrated its eighth anniversary in June 2025, having transported over 3 million passengers and operated 11,636 flights since its inception. The airline, now operating independently with its own Air Operator Certificate, continues to grow as IAG's fastest-growing carrier, serving seven transatlantic routes. No disruptions or cancellations related to LEVEL's operations have been reported in the provided context, despite recent Middle East airspace issues affecting other airlines
