Etihad Airways will enhance its Kolkata service with the Airbus A321LR, starting September 26, 2025, reinforcing its commitment to India.    All flights between Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi (AUH), and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata (CCU), will utilize this next-generation aircraft, offering an elevated travel experience across all cabins. 

The A321LR features luxurious First Suites with fully lie-flat beds in a 1-1 configuration, 14 lie-flat Business Class seats, and an advanced Economy Class with 4K touchscreens and high-speed Wi-Fi for seamless connectivity.Designed for wide-body comfort in a single-aisle aircraft, the A321LR provides enhanced space, privacy, and premium amenities.    Economy passengers will enjoy next-generation seating and cutting-edge in-flight entertainment. Arik De, Etihad's Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, emphasized India's importance, stating that the A321LR upgrade delivers superior comfort and connectivity for Kolkata travelers. 

This move strengthens Etihad's Indian market presence and global network access.Etihad's focus on efficiency and comfort positions it as a top choice for Abu Dhabi-Kolkata routes.
