Emirates is enhancing its services to Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) by adding a third daily flight starting October 26, 2025. This addition aims to meet market demand and improve connectivity to destinations like the Maldives, Bangkok, Bali, Hong Kong, and Singapore. The new flight will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, according to BCN Airport.Emirates currently operates 28 weekly flights to Spain, using a mix of A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft:

• 14 weekly flights to Madrid
• 14 weekly flights to Barcelona
• 7 weekly flights from Dubai to Mexico City via Barcelona
