Avolon, a leading global aviation finance company, has ordered 90 Airbus aircraft, including 15 A330neo and 75 A321neo, increasing its total orders to 79 A330neos and 264 A321neos. This move underscores Avolon's confidence in the sustained demand for new aircraft.

CEO Andy Cronin stated, "This order reflects our belief in the aviation sector's long-term growth. Our financial strength enables us to meet our airline customers' expansion and fleet replacement needs well into the next decade. The A321neo and A330neo are highly sought-after, and we're excited to deepen our partnership with Airbus."Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Airbus EVP Sales, Commercial Aircraft, remarked, "Lessors like Avolon are key indicators of market trends.

This order, following one just two years ago, highlights the strong appeal of the A320 Family and A330neo. These aircraft, the most efficient in their categories, serve diverse markets from domestic to long-haul routes, and we value Avolon's role in expanding their reach."The A330-900, powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, offers a 7,200nm (13,300km) range and cuts fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, and operating costs by 25% compared to older models. Its Airspace cabin enhances passenger comfort with more space, larger overhead bins, advanced lighting, and modern in-flight entertainment and connectivity.

The A321neo, the largest in Airbus' A320neo Family, delivers exceptional range and performance. With new-generation engines and Sharklets, it achieves 50% noise reduction and over 20% fuel and CO2 savings compared to previous single-aisle aircraft, while offering the widest single-aisle cabin for superior passenger comfort. Both aircraft support up to 50% Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), with Airbus aiming for 100% SAF compatibility by 2030, aligning with aviation's sustainability goals.
